Isla the Puppy (full name) was adopted by Jamie and Lauren from Team for Animals in Lantau South (TAILS) in Hong Kong in the Summer of 2020, proving that some good things came out of the pandemic.
As a Hong Kong mountain dog, she was naturally weary of all the city noises and the loud clanging carts were her worst enemies. While she has slowly adjusted to city living with her pawrents, she still prefers the great outdoors and goes on daily hikes to maintain her svelte athletic figure.
Isla enjoys doggie play dates with her BFFs, Molly and Luna, who is basically her twin, and is currently training to be the smartest dog in the world with her latest trick learning how to "talk" (cookie!).
She will be moving to Barcelona, Spain this summer and while she's nervous about new adventures and new smells, she can't wait for Jamie to sneak her some Iberico ham from the table.
