My custom paintings are painted by hand (not digitally!) with small batch, natural and therefore non-toxic ingredient watercolors. The paintings are done on 100% cold pressed cotton paper. Every painting is made with love and care to capture the spirit of your precious pet. Each custom pet portrait comes framed and is ready to be hung and displayed.
If you'd like to order a commission pet portrait, please send me an email using the form below!
After I receive your message, I will respond requesting pictures of your pet and require a 50% deposit to begin the art work. You'll receive updates of the sketch and have a change to let me know if you're happy with the progress so far before I continue.
Once the painting is finished, I will send you photographs of it. After receiving the remaining balance, I will ship the framed painting to you with a tracking number.
Payment can be sent through Zelle, Venmo or Paypal.
Thank you!
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How many pictures should I send?
In general, more is merrier! Having been a pet parent myself, I understand how hard it is to select just one photograph. I will work with you to figure out which picture, pose, angle and characteristics you want to come through in the painting.
What is considered a good picture?
The pictures should show your pet's eyes clearly. If I can see their eyes clearly, then I can paint them well. The saying is true when it comes to pet portraits--the eyes really are the window to the soul.
How long will it take to get my painting?
The time a commission takes varies depending on other work I have on hand. If you have a time sensitive need, please include it in your message.
Could you paint me with my pet?
I paint only your pet, so that I can focus on capturing the details and essence that makes your pet so special.
Could you paint more than one pet in the same painting?
I only do one pet per portrait. Again, this is so I can focus on capturing the details and essence that makes your pet so special. Depending on how many portraits you'd like, we can discuss a group rate.
